Music Education for All is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Las Vegas, Nevada.


Our Mission

To provide children and adults in our community, regardless of background or income, the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through music education. We aim to empower creativity, build confidence, and inspire lifelong engagement with the musical arts.

Key Initiatives

These initiatives directly support the mission to provide inclusive, high-quality music education and empower lifelong engagement:

Scholarships for Underserved Students

Provide need-based tuition assistance to ensure no student is turned away due to financial hardship.

Summer Music Camps at the YMCA or Public Libraries

Run week-long camps for kids and teens during summer breaks, combining music instruction, collaboration, and fun community activities.

Student Performance Concerts

Host regular concerts featuring student musicians to showcase their progress, build confidence, and engage the community.

Instrument Lending Library

Establish a library of instruments that students can borrow, reducing cost barriers for families.

Music Outreach to Senior Homes

Coordinate performances at local senior centers to bring joy, foster intergenerational connection, and give students real-world experience.

President

Patricia serves as the founder and president of New York Music Academy in Las Vegas, established in 2002. With over twenty years dedicated to advancing students' musical development, she brings experience from her teaching career, which began in Long Island, NY, in 1996. Identifying disparities in access to high-quality music education in Las Vegas, Patricia established the nonprofit to address these challenges. Under her mentorship, students have achieved recognition at local, state, regional, and international competitions. As president, Patricia leads MEFA's initiatives, outreach efforts, upholds the organization’s commitment to excellence and accessibility in music education to meet the needs of our community.

Winnie is a finance professional and longtime Las Vegas resident with a strong connection to music. She grew up playing the piano, which develped her early appreciation for the arts. Winnie earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from UNLV and has lived in Las Vegas for over 20 years. She currently works as Vice President of Capital Markets at the College Loan Corporation and serves as an active board member of CFA Society Nevada, supporting education, mentorship, and community outreach. She brings financial expertise, leadership experience, and a personal commitment to music education to her role with the nonprofit.

Ellie is a Las Vegas native currently studying at Carnegie Mellon University. She is an accomplished cellist with extensive performance and competition experience. She began studying cello at the age of two and has since earned recognition at the state and regional levels as a soloist, ensemble member, and orchestral musician. With a strong background in music and the humanities, Ellie brings a strategic perspective focused on effective communication and outreach. Her artistic perspective will strengthen engagement, support organizational growth, and expand equitable access to music education.

Amelie is a high school student and accomplished pianist and figure skater from Las Vegas. She began playing piano at age three and has received awards at the state, regional, and international levels. A driven and business-oriented young leader, Amelie is passionate about supporting the arts and has felt deep connections with arts-related businesses, helping them grow, thrive, and expand their reach. Amelie supports the foundation's fundraising, donor relations, and social media management, while also mentoring students in piano and music theory. Her dedication, creativity, and leadership help advance the organization’s mission and impact in the community.
